Berrys Farm Campsite Defibrillator Fundraising Campaign

At Berrys Farm Campsite, we are looking to install a public access defibrillator on site to help protect our local community and the many people who pass through the area.

We are based in a rural setting, surrounded by farms, a small number of nearby homes, and we regularly welcome cyclists, walking groups, and campers enjoying the countryside. While it is a lovely place to be, it also means that in an emergency, help is not always immediately close by, which is why having a defibrillator here is so important.

Why this matters

Each year in the United Kingdom, thousands of people suffer a sudden cardiac arrest outside of hospital. In these moments, every minute counts. Without quick cardiopulmonary resuscitation and access to a defibrillator, the chances of survival decrease rapidly.

For a community like ours, with farmers working nearby, neighbours close by, and visitors passing through, having access to a defibrillator could make a real difference while waiting for emergency services to arrive.

How it will help

Once installed, the defibrillator will be available twenty four hours a day and registered with the local ambulance service. It will be there for anyone who might need it, whether that is someone from the local farming community, a nearby resident, or a visitor to the area.

How you can help

We would really appreciate any support to help make this happen. Whether it is a donation or simply sharing this with others, it all helps.
