1. Online Donations
All donations made through the Website are collected by our Payments Processors. A processing fee is charged when donations are collected. The fee amount is clearly displaced when a donation is made. This fee covers the cost of collection, credit or debit card processing fees, and administration of the donation.
There is also the option for donors to make a voluntary donation toward the operation of AEDdonate Charity. As a charity, voluntary contributions enable us to support community defibrillators. Please click on the donate button on the right-hand top corner of the website to make a general donation.
The data required to reclaim Gift Aid from HMRC will be available to AEDdonate. AEDdonate will use all Gift Aid reclaimed funds to support its operations.
2. Unauthorised card use
A donation made via the Website is final and cannot be disputed unless unauthorised use of your credit card is proven. Your card provider must be notified if you become aware of fraudulent use of your card, or if it is lost or stolen.
3. Refunds of donations
All requests for refunds of donations should be made by the donor by contacting AEDdonate. Refunds of donations are made in accordance with the UK Charities Act 2011 and the Fundraising Regulator Code of Fundraising Practice. Refund requests must be submitted within seven days of the donation being made in order to be accepted. A refund can take up to 10 working days to appear in your bank account. Refunds are not subject to any fees.
