Margaret first popped into our one of our charity shops as a customer back in January 2025 and we’re so glad she did! After a quick chat with our Store Manager, she decided to give volunteering a try… and we haven’t looked back since!

From day one, Margaret has made a huge impact. She’s taken the lead on our books, DVDs, CDs, and toys and what a transformation! The once-cluttered book section is now beautifully organised, regularly refreshed, and always sparkling clean.

Margaret brings real dedication, coming in every Wednesday (and sometimes Thursdays too!) to make sure everything is just right. She’s not only a hard worker, but also a kind, welcoming face who’s always up for a chat and happy to help customers find a hidden gem or two.
