Defibrillators (AEDs) are vital pieces of life-saving equipment – they can make the difference between life and death in an emergency.
Fortunately, problems with defibrillators are very rare, and they are designed to be reliable, robust and simple to maintain.
However, on the rare occasion that something does go wrong – such as missing pads, or cabinet damage – it’s important that we know about it quickly.
Reporting a possible issue doesn’t mean the defibrillator is unsafe or unusable, it just means we can double-check and make sure it’s fully ready for use.
By letting us know about any concerns, you’re helping to keep your community safe and ensuring this life-saving equipment is always ready when needed most.
If you have found a problem or potential fault with a defibrillator, please contact us so we can get it checked and fixed.
It only takes a few minutes, and your quick action could make a real difference.
