The Torquay Supporters Travel Club is partnering with AEDdonate to raise funds for a mobile defibrillator that will travel on every away-day coach journey, helping to protect supporters, drivers, staff, and the wider football community wherever we go.
Every year in the UK, thousands of people suffer an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Sadly, survival rates remain low, but immediate CPR and rapid access to a defibrillator can dramatically improve the chances of survival. When a cardiac arrest strikes, every second matters.
By installing a dedicated defibrillator on our supporters’ coach, we can ensure that life-saving equipment is available throughout every matchday journey, whether travelling across Devon or across the country. The device will provide vital support in the critical minutes before emergency services arrive, potentially helping to save a life when it matters most.
This campaign isn’t just about a piece of equipment. It’s about giving peace of mind to everyone who travels with us and demonstrating the incredible community spirit that makes football supporters so special.
