Reading Walking Football are working with AEDdonate to raise funds for a defibrillator. This essential life-saving device will be available to teams, visitors and the local community in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).

Why a Defibrillator for Reading Walking Football Is So Important

Each year in the UK, over 30,000 people suffer a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) outside of a hospital. Tragically, 620 of these are people under the age of 35, and 270 of them are children, often while at school or in public places.

When a defibrillator is used within the first 3 minutes of an SCA, survival chances rise to over 80%. That’s why having a defibrillator could save a life.
