The Suffolk Punch horse is the oldest English breed of working horse and an important part of East Anglian culture. The Suffolk Punch Trust is a charity, founded to help protect this critically endangered Suffolk horse through its established breeding programme, raising public awareness and training a new generation of professionals to work with these iconic heavy horses so playing a vital role in conservation of this species both nationally and internationally. The Trust has recently raised £20,000 of investment to upgrade its facilities as a major East Anglian tourist attraction with around 80,000 visitors per annum. Currently there is no defibrillator available to assist in the event of a SCA so the Trust is now looking to install one in time for the new summer season. In order to achieve this we need to raise an additional £2000 and would greatly welcome any donation that can help us to achieve this. The location of the Trust within Hollesley would also make it readily accessible to the local community. Please contribute anything you can to assist in the conservation of these wonderful animals.
