Milton Village 3rd Defibrillator Campaign

Milton Village 3rd Defibrillator Campaign

100,000 people a year die from Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), 630 of these are people under the age of 35 and 270 of them are children in schools. It is the UK’s biggest killer. By making defibrillators accessible to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, this figure can be reduced. Defibrillation within the first 3 minutes of an SCA can increase a patient’s chance of survival by upwards of 80%.

The residents of Milton Village are making Milton a much safer place to live by working together to make the village heart safe. We are working alongside AEDdonate to fundraise for 3rd public access defibrillator to be installed so that should any of our residents or visitors suffer a SCA whilst in the village it is available for use whilst waiting for the ambulance service to arrive. If you would like to donate towards the cost of this life saving piece of equipment you can do so by using the links on this page or by calling the AEDdonate office on 01785 472224.

If you would like to become a Community Champion and help to make this life saving piece of equipment available to the residents of your local community or the members of your sports club, then please contact us at AEDdonate by phone on 01785 472224 or email info@aeddonate.org.uk. We will help you with all of the fundraising resources you need and also contact people on your behalf, asking them to donate to your campaign.
