Did you know 100,000 people die through Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) every year?
No? You can help cut that death toll today… what if tomorrow is too late?
The shops on Anchor Road, Longton are acting as a fundraising champions to help the local community by placing a life saving Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in the community. This means that it will be accessible for the local community to use in case of an emergency 24/7. Any support you can give will be received very gratefully. By having the Automated External Defibrillator available to the surrounding public 24/7 this means that we can help cut death tolls that are increasing every year. The AED is going to be installed outside of the shops and will be available to both the shops and the local community 24/7.
As part of the service; AEDdonate provides all the Administration, Essential Public Awareness Campaign and Ongoing after Care Services.
AEDdonate’s mission is to help communities up and down the UK to gain access to Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). The AEDs will be stored in external storage cabinets, which, as well as being both weather and vandal-proof, are heated for maintenance of the AED and security-coded to prevent inappropriate deployments.
In order to access the box, you must contact the emergency services, who will supply you with the code to utilise the AED if they believe that you are responding to a person who has suffered a cardiac arrest.
Over 100,000 people die every year through Sudden Cardiac Arrest, we want to cut that NOW! Please help to make your community heart safe today!
