At AEDdonate we feel it is important to recognise the efforts, dedication and passion shown by the community to support the placement of defibrillators. Today we announce our ‘Heart of the Community’ monthly recognition award for March.
The award goes to two of our Stone Shop Volunteers Linda Smith and Jill Podmore.
Jamie Richards, Chief Executive of AEDdonate said “Linda and Jill volunteer in our shop each week and travel from Meir and Cheadle. I commend them both as they make the effort each week to support our shop with supports the Community Defibrillators in Stone and not directly their local community.
We do need more volunteers not just in our retail division but charity wide. If you would like to find out more then you can attend our open day. CLICK HERE to find out more”
We visited our shop to present the awards and it was all smiles from the team as they were recognised for all the hard work they’ve done to help AEDdonate.
Free Basic Life Support and Defibrillator Training will be taking place on Wednesday 25th April 1800-2000 hours at the AEDdonate Community Room, 69 High Street, Stone, ST15 8AD please call 01785 472224 if you would like to secure a place.
