Our Community Education Officer has been out at Aspire in Stafford delivering a CPR and AED awareness training. The session was attended by 24 people with a mix of people working together to understand the basics of life support.
A defibrillator was recently installed at the facility after a community fundraising effort reached its target. The defibrillator is available for use by anyone in the local community and can be accessed by calling 999.
Early 999 call, Early CPR and Early Defibrillation form the first 3 links in the chain of survival, Aspire are now ready to respond in the event of an out of hospital cardiac arrest.
We hope everyone who took part feels more aware and reassured after their training session.
