On Friday 6th November AEDdonate accepted the donation of 4 defibrillators from Buxton Mountain Rescue. The team recently upgraded each of their Automated External Defibrillators (AED) carried on its team vehicles. The new units are significantly lighter than those being replaced, which helps to reduce the load on the vehicles and weight carried by team members. Although the older AEDs have been used for several years, they are still serviceable, having been well maintained, and so they contacted us at AEDdonate to find them a new home.

Jamie Richards, Chief Executive of AEDdonate said; We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Buxton mountain Rescue Team for supporting us. These machines will be fed into our loan stock which in turn supports communities that may need coverage for a short period of time for example if an AED is recalled or deployed. Its fantastic that these machines can now live on.
