On Monday 11th June the battery inside the defibrillator at Christchurch First School in Stone was stolen and replaced with an out of date flat battery. Whoever did this also left the cabinet open leaving the defibrillator exposed to the elements. The defibrillator battery and pads at this location were replaced by the AEDdonate charity shop last month at a cost of over £250.00.

Defibrillators (AEDs) are lifesaving pieces of equipment in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and an out of use defibrillator could cost a life!!!
