Staff at ABB in Stone have been raising money for Local Charity AEDdonate throughout their yearly safety week, with organised events such as Training Sessions, Dress down day and a Raffle.

Claire Warman, from ABB, said: “At ABB we like to support a local charity throughout safety week each year. We have 5 defibrillators on site and its so important that the awareness is raised on how to use one throughout our teams on site.

Jamie Richards, CEO of AEDdonate said: “We are a local charity that supports communities with the placement of Public Access Defibrillators.

“The money that ABB has raised will go towards the relocation of the High Street AED once the coop has closed in January, it was great to work with ABB and I hope that we can go back next year and deliver similar a training programme”

ABB staff also purchased Raffle tickets to win a ford Fiesta 1.25 Zetec which AEDdonate will be giving away in April in partnership with Hill and Swift.

Daniel Johnson has also come forward from ABB and will be taking part in a skydive. The Skydive will raise funds to place an AED into his local community of lightwood. You can support and donate to Daniels campaign by CLICKING HERE.
